World Neighbours Canada is facing a turning point. We have always relied on a small core of very dedicated donors such as yourself. Those donations are often used to leverage grants and funding from the Canadian Government. Over the years, our donations have slowly decreased as some of our core group have passed away or their financial situations have changed. Meanwhile, Global Affairs Canada has made the granting process difficult for a small NGO such as ours. As a small group of volunteers, we need to look at options for increasing funding to continue to support our partner organizations overseas. As one of our loyal donors yourself, we would appreciate your input.
